This course deals with the skills and knowledge requirements for responsible conduct of gambling under State/Territory legislation. All staff working in gaming areas of hotels and registered  clubs  are required to complete this course.This course is VETAB (NSW) and NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing (OLGR formerly LAB) approved. (Taken from Industry National Competency SITHGAM006A - SIT07 Tourism, Hospitality and Events - Certificate III in Hospitality)

  • Strategies for preventing underage gambling
  • Importance of advising patrons of assistance available to problem gamblers
  • Implementation of House Policies and industry codes of practice

  • Appreciating the benefits of conducting gaming in a responsible manner

Pre-requisites: There are no pre-requisites for this course

Training Course Outcomes: After successful completion participants will receive a Temporary NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing (OLGR) Certificates, which must be taken to Australia Post to Order the NSW Photo ID.

Cancellations & Refunds

    The Training provider's cancellation policy is:

    There are no refunds for cancellations or any kind.
    Changes to dates must be made a minimum of 48 hours prior to booking to avoid rebooking fee.

    Changes within 48 hours of the course incur a $70 rebooking fee If students are ill a presented medical certificate will waive the rebooking fee.
    If a student is late they will not be allowed in.
    If a student misses their course a $70 rebooking fee applies.
